Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!!!!

WOW...the summer holidays are over, school has started and the leaves are already starting to change colors in PA.  Fall is my favorite time of the year so I am super excited!   This is also  when I start worrying if those 2 summer pounds are going to come off, if my swelled ankles are ever going to look normal again and if my dress pants that I haven't worn all summer are going to zip up. I can't do anything right now about the scales or my swelled ankles but I did try my dress pants on it's going to be year #3 (or maybe 4)  for them...YEAH!!!  Sticking with Protein, deciding to buy good dress pants and getting them dry cleaned as paid off!!!

Hi Roz,

I'm back!! Hope everyone had a great holiday.   I needed to come back to work to get some rest and get back on track...  DD is doing a little better, she tried to work today but only made it about 2 hours.  I don't think she is going to try tomorrow.  Her foot is really swollen and hurts bad she said.  I'm suppose to go out of town Wednesday and Thursday to my other place I work.  She told me she would be ok, but you know how we moms worry.

I need to get back into my routine.  I left my carbquik biscuits/rolls out on the counter in a zip bag and they molded.  Had to throw away about 8 or them, so now I need to cook some more tonight to take with me to eat while I'm out of town.

D:  Carbquik Biscuit, 1/3 oz of cheese, deli ham, deli chicken

Thanks Huneypie.  She fell out her back door down the steps while she was carrying something to the truck.  Split her lip all the way through and had to have stitches inside and out, has a very bad sprained foot and cuts and scrapes on her legs.  Bless her heart if it can happen to anyone, it will be her!!

Poor *daughter* [oops not sis, my bad].  I broke my foot about 15 years ago as my leg went down an uncovered manhole at night.  It was horribly swollen although I didn't have any cuts, so I have an idea what she's going through.  She'll have to put her foot up lots for the best recovery.
