Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!!!!
I did an awesome job at the family reunion yesterday!! Drum Roll Please.......I didn't have a single crumb of dessert or carbs!!!!!! Someone brought a meat/cheese platter and there was a fresh fruit salad which I munched on during the day . I took my Protein drinks with me and actually had a extra one for the day. I had planned on taking a few bites of a dessert as a reward for staying out of them all day but when my niece brought me out the dessert (had them hidden) that everyone had been talking about I went to take a piece and decided....WHY would you eat a piece now after doing so good!!

I always cook something to be my meal during the week and I'm pretty happy with today's new recipe. It's been going around Facebook so I got it there. A zucchini crust pizza - the posted recipe has meat and "spaghetti sauce" but I'm an old-fashioned Italian pizza-maker so I make the crust (shredded zucchini, two eggs, parmesan, and some mozzarella) then made the rest like I would make my regular pizza, which is tomato paste and sauce, my own mix of spices, then tons of veggies on top (I put a green pepper from my DH's garden, mushrooms, spinach, and onions) one can of shrimp - cook for 15 minutes and then add low fat mozzarella to melt. Very good, and I'll enjoy all week. When I went to enter it onto myfitnesspal there were several versions, so I just chose one - I don't really know the nutrition count. Best part is this is the day we get pizza for the boys and I always have trouble not snitching some cheese off their pizzas, but with this there was no temptation!
Plus - got on the track and walk/ran for 20 minutes - too hot for more, but it's a step!

The spaghetti did not agree with me, which is unusual, won't eat that again for a while Don't know if it was the ww pasta or the sauce. I only ate tiny bit of pasta.
