WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

How's everyone doing? Are your kids off to school? Do you have empty nest syndrome? Is it easier to follow your plan than when you are feeding little ones all day? I know it is a lot easier for me to stay on track than it is for my DD's.

Got my walk in this morning then rode Poppy. Feeling very vertious about my exercise even if the scale isn't going down like I would like.
I've changed my breakfast cause I was out of eggbeaters. Not having the kale in the morning however was not helping my bathroom habits so I changed from benefiber to miralaz this morning and had a flax muffin. We'll see if that helps. But I will be gone for a few days at a driving clinic so meals will be different anyway.

My nightly popcorn helps me go to the bathroom. I can really tell the difference if I haven't had it for a few days. I've read some nasty things about miralax but they might only pertain to children. My DD took her 5 yr. old off of it immediately.

School starts next week. Husby is so grumpy right now - can't wait til he goes back to school and starts teaching again. I think he's sad vacation is coming to an end, but that doesn't mesh with me - who works all summer.

We've had empty nest for 7 or 8 years. I like it. It about drove DH crazy, but I think he is finally getting used to it.
We are going out of town tomorrow when I get off work. We are meeting my sister and her family and going to a Hot Air Balloon festival. I'm so excited. We are suppose to be home Saturday night late. I'm not taking my laptop.

my youngest went to college a week ago, have talked to her every day though Can't say I have empty nest, just think about her alot. My little grandson who lives with us started preschool today. I'm back to work, so on a better eating schedule.
