clean out the cupboards - protien shakes
I am trying to use up some of the many powders I have collected over the last year. I got out my huge bag of Syntrax Matrix mint cookie and made a double shake with milk. YUM forgot how good it is.
I have been really lazy lately and only been drinking RTD premier protein drinks. It is just stupid to keep buying these while unemployed when I have tons of powders in my pantry. I am going to start making them with my blender bottle again, till I run out.
I have probably a dozen single serving samples that I never made up. I have partial containers of cappuccino, 2 brands of vanilla, 2 brands of chocolate, lemon tea, unflavored and chicken soup plus the matrix above. Should last me quite a while since I have one a day now.

I am pretty much routine these days with my protein. I use Mint cookie, vanilla, chocolate for my shakes at night and coffee in the morning. I use lemon tea and caribbean cooler with crystal light 1/2 strengh during the day between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner.
You should have great fun using all those. I really hate the ready to drinks stuff. I bought some before my knee thinking I wouldn't want to mix stuff but hated them. I have ended up using them in cooking so I didn't taste them.

Ooo - I know where you're coming from! I probably have about 8 tubs of protein and 30 bottles of SF syrups.

I just had one too, mine was a single chocolate mixed with almond coconut milk. I get behind on the protein count and they catch you up in a hurry!

I am having problems with my resolve. I just made a strawberry celebrate ENS. NASTY Good thing I only had 2 sample packs that make 4 oz each, so they are gone. I drank it like medicine, it had vitamins and calcium in it too so I guess it was medicine. To be fair to the ENS, the chocolate I made yesterday was very good. :)

You all have interesting ideas with your protein shakes? How do you make the coffee? I tried Unury unflavored in my iced coffee but I think it tasted bad. Maybe i should have tried 1/2 scoop instead of the full.
I'm looking for ideas on how to use. I just started using my GNC vanilla (2 scoops) with 1/2 cup skim milke and 1/2 cup of greek yogurt and frozen strawberries and bananas (3 of each). This is a double serving for me with a total of 60 grams.
I've been at a plateau for the last 6 weeks, do you think adding more protein will help me start losing again? I've been between 160 and 163 since early August.
The last few days I have hit 159 so hoping I'm going to lose again. My goal was 140 but I am hoping to get to 125. I am 5'2". Starting weight was 219 and surgery weight was 201. Surgery was 2/28/13.
