WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Happy Monday!!! I'm relaxing more at work than I got to do all weekend...LOL. We had the boys again yesterday and SIL is getting his broken tooth pulled today. He is in so much pain and meds are making him sick.
We took the boys to a birthday party yesterday and I did soooo good! Had a little fruit, 1 meatball, and 1/2 cup broccoli salad. NO BREAD..NO FRIED CHICKEN..NO CHIPS..NO ICE CREAM AND NO CAKE!!!!!!

I went on my walk this morning, drove Halley and have been working since. I am planning on muscle pump this evening but have to sit by the phone waiting for a phone appt with medicaid that they said would happen this afternoon. With the state changes, part of my business information was screwed up when they downloaded it into the new system and I can't get it straightened out. they are suppose to have someone call who can get it straight, we will see.
I managed to stay out of the M&Ms all day yesterday and so far today. I got chocolate calcium chews and that has been my sugar fix.

I used to take the calcium chews and that was my treat in the afternoon. I need to buy some!

after I sat inside all afternoon waiting on the call, he finally called this morning and couldn't fix any of it. Just pushed it on to the next person to "expidite". Yeah right, I have been trying to get it fixed since early July.

My Director is going through the same thing. He got a call this morning from someone he thought would have all of the answers but of course they didn't. He is back to square one.

vites yes, miles-expresso bike and lower body, numbers good, fluids on my way to 3 liters.

That was 1 day of willpower after 2 weeks of sweet cravings! Normally I don't struggle too much with cravings so maybe it was the excitement and stress of the wedding. I think I had 3 pieces of my DD's wedding cake last week!!
The key is to avoid sweets and bad carbs as loooong as you can!
