Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!!!!!
We took 3 of our Grandchildren to the Rodeo last night and I had some bites of funnel cake...the sweets have to stop!!! The wedding cake was the start of it and now it is getting out of hand. The scales have moved in the wrong direction too!!!!

My plan is to stick with Protein for a few days and hoping the scale moves back down. I don't think there are any more sweets in the house and the next birthday isn't until Sept. 9th so that will give me a couple of weeks to get myself under control.
Looks like you had a little bit of a carb tooth today too...lol.

I'm thinking I shouldn't have even had my regular Mint Cookie Protein shake this morning because it is so sweet.
Boring??? It doesn't look much different than your normal day...lol.

Sweets have always been my downfall. Before WLS I would stop on the way home and buy a banana flip cake and loved cookies for breakfast. I've only had a few bad days since surgery because I use to dump really bad but of course that's not as bad as it used to be. I don't even eat Protein bars because I'm afraid it will set me off. I'm hoping I have a good weekend with little temptation.
Do you boil the cauliflower and then ma**** What do you put on it? Are your pickles sweet or dill?

I agree about the protein bars. I stopped eating them because they are a trigger plus they just don't sit well in my pouch.
I steam the cauliflower. Then ma**** Put milk/cream/butter - whatever you would put in traditional mashed potatoes in it. I put just butter in this time. But - I find I need a bit of salt to make it taste more like potatoes... just me - I like salt. The pickles are sugar free bread and butter pickles. I used to eat these a LOT when I had my surgery, but found I had to be careful because even though they are 0 calories, no sugar, etc. my weight loss would slow down.
