Nervous!

I have a constant nervous stomach lately.  Not only is my sugery scheduled for this Tuesday but my oldest daughter is entering her Senior year of High School. Money is tight due to back to school shopping and sports fees ($250 per child for each sport) and the thought of her going off to college next year is making me an emotional basket case.   I thought the emotions would come out after surgery like everyone said but I'm a bundle of nerves today.

I hear you.  I am post op but the back to school crazies have me anxious too.  My oldest is just starting his freshman year of college this week. He is attending a local community college (NMC) for the first 2 years, so not leaving home yet.   My youngest is in 10th grade, and in football right now. (pay to play also)

Before you know it youll be done with surgery:) I'll move over on the LOSERS bench for you!!

Thanks!  As the date grows closer I am full of more nervous energy. Thank God the anesthesiologist said I can take an Ativan Tuesday morning. My dad is dropping me off at 8:00 am.  

Do you know if I have to have someone with me? He figured they can call him if there's a problem but doesn't really want to wait all that long to find out what they could say over the phone.

I didn't have anyone waiting while I was in opp room.  The surgeon called DH after and gave him an update.  Make sure this is an option, should work.

I don't know how folks do it these days. You have a lot on your plate.  (((hugs)))
