Jeans Jeans Jeans... in a size 8

Hey All,  Just a follow up on my jeans thread... I went back to the store yesterday and without delay turned in the 10's for store credit... grabbed the 8's went to the changing room and put a pair on.  Snug fitting... but got them on. 

Gave me a bit of a muffin top and I think to sit in them for a 10 hour work day would be tough right now. 

Good thing for me I won't be wearing them anytime soon as we here in SW Virginia are predicted to be back up into the high 80's... so back to my current crop pants and skirts...

That was one of the most difficult issue... Forcing myself to reach for smaller sizes. I kept grabbing larger sizes that were clearly too large - once I tried them on. I could not visualize my size correctly. Like someone told me when I bought my first size 10 "don't get attached to those pants bc you won't be in them for long!" She was right.

I still find myself wandering thru the plus size section... I have to literally ask myself what I think I am doing wasting my time in this section... even if I find something I like they WILL NOT HAVE MY SIZE... lol

I am so thrilled with how far I have come down in sizes... I would be ok if I stopped here...BUT... I will keep on keeping on... until my body says... ok were done...

Lose as much and go as low as your body will allow. It will eventually stabilize . Congratulations on your great success thus far

Hurray for Lucy! I had a similar experience on Saturday when I visited Old Navy to try on their $15 jeans and put on the 12's. Baggy, baggy in the derrière! So, I did what any fashionista would do-bought two pairs of 10's(three months ago I was an 18!)

It is thrilling and scary at the same time to buy that smaller size.  Just bought 2 pairs of 10 slacks today that are a titch tight.  The old me said "how do you know you will keep losing weight"  the new me bought them! I am still chicken to go through my clothes yet to get rd of the 12's.
