OT New Haircut XPost

I am testing this out on you because I am afraid I am going to get a lot of crap about this.  I have wanted to get my hair cut real short for a long time and every time I mention it to anyone they act like I said I am getting the mark of the beast tattooed on my face.  My youngest daughter actually forbid me to cut it and every time I say anything to my boyfriend about wanting to cut my hair his response is always "Just don't cut it too short."  Somehow I have a feeling this is what he means.

I'm not unhappy about it even though it's shorter then I wanted.  I got to talking to the hair stylist and next thing I knew she had cut a big chunk of it very short and at that point it was too late and I was committed to it.  I am just afraid of the reactions I know I will get.  It's a huge change even though I used to wear my hair very short for a long time up until a about 5 years ago.  I'm not too worried about it because my hair seems to grow very fast so I can see how I like it before I decide to keep it this way or let it grow out.

This is how it was  Right before it was cut Af

I think it looks great.  I love the curl.  Give it a fresh start.  And like you said, if you don't want to keep it that way, it will grow :)

I recently cut mine too, not short, just to medium.  It was almost to my waist before the cut, but was not healthy.  After the cut to just below shoulders it looks healthy again.

I love it.  I am a short haired girl and so that could have some part in it but I think it takes years off your face.  angry

I grow and cut my hair regularly. The best part of cutting it is the liberation from having to manage a big mane of hair. You look great. Stick with it until it's not fun anymore.

Life's too short for long hair is my saying.  It's summer so enjoy your current length.  It'll be a little longer come autumn and I'm all for warm ears at that time of year, so things should work out just nicely for you!! ;-)
