Hi Price,
I was really ready for this Friday. It has been a really busy week at work. I only have to work 3 1/2 days next week and then I'm heading to my parent's house. I have my 4 year appointment with my weight loss surgeon. I think it is suppose to rain here all weekend. I would really like to hibernate in my house all weekend, but not sure if that is going to happen.
1. I love fall and spring when it is around 65 - 70 degrees. It is so much nicer to be outside. Walking/running is much easier, plus the nats will leave you alone!!
2. I like to walk/jog/run outside. I can't believe I even go outside - I used to hate to even walk out the door!!
3. My favorite fall dishes - I have to think about that. I guess I like the squashes like spaghetti squash & butternut squash, but I'm getting some of them right now. I like chili and soups.
4. I don't really have any plans this weekend right now. My DIL had asked us to babysit DGS for a couple of hours tomorrow while they take DGD#1 to the movies, but I think they have decided not to go. I will probably just go to the grocery store and cook a little for next week.
Linda
It never rained here today and I was so happy. got pretty much done outside so I guess if it rains tomorrow, I will get stuff inside done.
Have a good weekend and a great surgeon visit next week.

1. Ever since menopause started I have loved the cold weather because of the damn hot flashes and I am just plain hot all the time and I don't tolerate heat too well. Before that Summer was my favorite season and it's that way again since I love riding my bike out in the sunshine, especially in the evening when it is cooling off and the breeze from riding feels so good.
2. I don't have one yet. I am dreading giving up riding but I know there are going to be days where it just won't be possible. I suppose I could get an exercise bike but the whole point for me is getting out and seeing things. I am not good at all with structured exercise plans. I want to be active and do things that are fun and I enjoy that just happen to involve moving my body. I am going to have to think on it. I really do like the cold weather, too, though, because I like to snuggle up in a blanket and hibernate but that isn't really the best thing for me.
3. I can't think of anything I eat in the fall that I don't eat the rest of the year, too. I love soups and chili but I will eat those any time of the year.
4. Same as every weekend. Work and ride my bike afterwards.

At least here, the weather has been so weird this summer, who knows what fall and winter will bring. We are unseasonably cool right now. I hope it isn't going to be as wet this winter as it has been this summer or we will still be digging out in May.

Leaving the animals is the worse part of vacations. I worry about the old dogs. I know he will be happy to see you.
