Friday, just for fun
It's Friday again. And although it's August and should be blazing hot around here, it has been in the 60s and jacket weather. I'm sure it won't stay like this so I am enjoying the cool as it comes. And a little bit of dry, but it is suppose to rain again this weekend and later today
1. What are you looking forward to with cooler weather coming?
2. What is your favorite fall exercise?
3. What are your favorite fall dishes?
4. What are your plans for the weekend?
1. I love the fall and driving my ponies. I have several fall camping/driving trips coming up in Sept and Oct in Tennessee and Ky, and SC. The heat and bugs aren't so bad for the ponies and they are usually quite frisky in the cooler weather.
2. Anything outside. I was out already cleaning out garden areas. In the past, I would have kids do the hard work for me but between WLS and muscle pump, I can do it all myself. Fall plants are showing up in the stores and I will get the fall garden in sometime soon. Just hope it doesn't get flooded like my summer garden has.
3. I love soups. Can't wait to make a pot of bean soup, corn chowder, etc. I don't use recipies, just throw stuff together.
4. No big plans. Ride or drive ponies, work in the garden and go to zumba on Sunday.

It's downright chilly this morning. I had to haul out my fall pajamas (the long pants not short ones). And the cats snuggle closer. :)
1. What are you looking forward to with cooler weather coming? To getting rid of the bugs that have driven me crazy all summer.
2. What is your favorite fall exercise? Walking and it's great around here.
3. What are your favorite fall dishes? Soups, chowders, fall veggies.
4. What are your plans for the weekend? We are heading to Greenville Sat for a puppy socializing visit (meetup group) and to finally meet with another member of the WLS community.

Don't get too excited about walking unless you have your flippers near. I think ya'll are already getting the rain and we are suppose to get 1-2" today. Sun now but not for long.

We did a puppy park in Greenville...way so disappointed. But it wasn't raining, wet ground but no rain.
We also met a member of OH, goes by the name H.a.l.a. B. here on OH, she had the RNY with the same group that did yours, Price. She actually used the partner of the one you had altho yours has done her hernia repair. We had lunch at Stax's Omega. We have photos but until she says yes, I'm not posting it.
It was a GOOD day!

glad your meeting was nice and sorry the puppy park wasn't wonderful. Oh well. I have high regards for my group. They haven't been perfect but I do think they do a good job with the information and training part.

What kind of puppy do you have SL ?
I love the cooler weather of our extremely long and pleasant falls here in NYC . Suprisingly , freezing weather comes much FASTER at the shore and I have to get our efficient heating system in PRONTO .
My favorite forms of fall exercise are walking , rollerblading , gardening and putting together hot new outfits to walk miles ofcity streets in ( I always love the lines of my body after the leanifying months long sauna of summer . I am also looking forward to trying the new bike lanes and CITIBIKE in Manhattan :) which makes biking in the city MUCH less dangerous ...
( I tried bicylcle messengering one time thinking it was a fast way to lose weight and get paid >>>> NOT !! A fast way to lose your LIFE YES !! ) I actually love being able to MOVE after months pinned to the house by the weather .
My favorite fall dishes are homemade soups , fat free chowders and fatfree creamed fresh corn ...
Plans for the weekend .. work and more work.. but at least not in ninety degrees
Just pulled out all the beans and squash. Ready to get some fall plants in soon.
