Stalls....BLECH!!!
Quick reminder
pre surgery weight 250
lowest weight post surgery 170
highest regain 205
current weight 173.5 (for 4 weeks)
I want to see 170 soooooooo bad. I can taste the 160s (which I have been in since high school)
I HATE STALLS
Guess I'm going to have to up the water intake and put a little less butter on my corn on the cob
WHAT WAS YOUR WORST STALL?

35 pounds of regain!!! 30 lost!!! Just a little more to go.
Add more fluid, more protein and cut the corn...not the butter. Carbs (corn is very starchy) is not your friend during the weight loss phase.

I eat corn maybe 3/4 times a year...and if I do corn on the cob, it's about 1/3 of a medium ear.

Great job you have done Lauren! So determined with all that has happened.
I have increased my regular water recently after another thread on here woke me up about all the sweetener I have been using. I don't do the low carb thing. I eat corn on the cob, but I'm still in "honeymoon" so may have to cut it back later.
I can honestly say I have never been more than two weeks at the same exact weight. I may lose half a pound, or go up then down again, so far no long stalls. But it is reality that I am close to being done with the losing as I hit my goal a while ago and am just along for the ride now :) The challenge of maintenance scares the hell out of me !!!

I never stalled when I was in the losing phase. These days, I seem to go up and down for no reason at all. The last 2 days I have added a pound each day. REALLY????Why????
I do think it is harder to lose after you get past the honeymoon time, around 18 mnths, so I think you have done great to get that regain off.
So just keep on keeping on. It will happen.
My corn story. When I was little, maybe 12, I was in the grocery store with my great aunt. We passed the corn on the cob and she said "Alvin just loves corn, but you know that is what they fatten pigs with". To this day, I don't eat corn without thinking about that. I don't eat it very often!!!
