Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period

Sunday...one wee****il the wedding.  I'm starting to get a little sick about this.  Weddings are fun and exciting but I keep Praying she is making the right choice.  I've been very fortunate having her and my 3 granddaughters living close by and being their extra hands.  That's all going to change soon.

It's Sunday so we never have eating plans.  We have a couple of the younger GKids today so I guess their moods will rule the day...lol.

Protein:    Matrix Mint Cookie 35g.
Lunch       I'm sure it's going to be fast food of sort

Good morning Roz,

Weddings are stressful and I hope you survive all right.  DH and I are planning our 10th with a renewal of vows.

Spent Friday at work from 6am to 8:30pm to get home to no electricity.  Someone had cut the line that fed the entire neighborhood.  We didn't get it bac****il late last night.  We are going to the farmer's market and the Food Co-op this morning, then back to clean house, do laundry and cook for the week.

My Nectar finally arrived Friday (Vanilla Bean Torte and Latte Cappuccino) and my Strawberry Sorbet Unjury should be here Monday sometime.  I'm making pizza with cauliflower pizza crust for dinner tonight (SUPER yummy) and making some flourless, sugarless almond butter cookies as well as my usual ground turkey and quinoa mixture.

B:  Vanilla protein shake w/ decaf instant coffee 34.5g

P:  Latte Cappuccino protein shake 34.5g

L: Unknown at this point

D: 1 piece pizza with cauliflower pizza crust

S:  1 almond butter cookie

S: Chocolate protein shake 30g

morning vitamins done

afternoon vitamins and evening vitamins waiting in the wings

Lots of walking today and tonight taking the Toy Poodle Gang for a walk around the neighborhood (1.5 miles)

**Inspired by this recipe here http://civilizedcavemancooking.com/grain-free-goodies/paleo- banana-bread/, but I've modified the ingredients and cooking method as I used what I had at home and I couldn't be bothered to switch on the oven, so I cooked it by filling half a cup (it'll rise lots!!) and gave it 50 seconds in 1,000 watt microwave.

2 bananas
2 eggs
1/2 cup almond flour
2 tablespoons melted butter (I put mine in the mixing bowl and heated the whole bowl in the microwave to melt it!!)
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (coulda done a whole scoop, but I was experimenting)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder

ETA this made 4 mug cakes and I ate two which I found extremely filling for my nearly 3 year old sleeve!! ;-D

I nibbled too and I tried really hard to make good choices.  We don't really have any junk food so it wasn't a really hard task.

Sounds like good Protein Choices!

Hi. I'm new to this board though not new to this site. Only 3 days post op revision from Lapband (2006) to RNY. Don't have any meals to add yet but am very excited to see a Brit on the board with surgery in Belgium!

I am am American living in Brussels for over 10 years and am looking forward to sharing meal ideas and product names with another European! So many things people list here on OH can't be found easily if at all and it can be frustrating.

Anyway can't wait to try cauliflower pizza crust pizza. Sound delish!
