Just for Fun Friday

How did it get to be Friday again, and August at that?  Let's learn a little more about each other.

1.  Married /single / committed relationship?

2.  Children?  In house or out?

3.  Urban / rural?

4.  Plans for the weekend?

1.  Married, for 41 years to the same wonderful guy.  He has loved me through fat and thin and stood by me with all my horse craziness.

2.  2 children, both live away these days.  My son is the oldest.  He lives in a group home for developmentally disabled adults but comes home every weekend.  He is my DH's best playmate for golf and bowling.   My daughter lives in the Cleveland area and is a college professor and the head of her schools Honors Dept.  She is in a committed relationship but no kids and says there won't be any so no grandbabies for me. 

3.  Rural.  We have a small farm in Henderson Co, NC.  I love being able to go out in my nightgown to the garden or barn in the mornings. 

4.  Other than groceries and errands that I haven't done for the past few weeks, I am going to play with ponies and go to Zumba on Sunday.  It will be nice to be home.  Hopefully the rain will stop and the guys can play golf and I will have the house to myself.

2.  Two daughters - the youngest is living with us while she finishes up OT school.  The oldest lives in Oceanside, CA with her hubby.  They are expecting their first child (our first grandchild!) in November.

3.  Urban - we live in a suburb of Omaha, NE

4.  Going to the balloon & wine festival Saturday night (no wine for this girl!)

wow, I bet the balloons are beautiful  We have a festival here and I am in awe of them when they all take off.

1.  Married for 10 years.

2.  No kids - I'm still hopeful for grandchildren though he he! ;-)  Kids seem such an effort and I'd skip just the one step!!

3.  Urban.

4.  Clothes shopping as we're going to Sorrento, Italy in less than 2 weeks!! :-)

Hi Price!!

1.  Married /single / committed relationship?  Divorced.  I see someone...

2.  Children?  In house or out? 2 children - out of the house.  My daughter is in Michigan and a Police Officer, my son is a Pilot for a private corporation in Houston

3.  Urban / rural?  Both my places in MI and VA are considered Rural.  I love looking out my doors and seeing nothing but trees.

4.  Plans for the weekend?  Motorcycle trip to SO MD for a rally - IF the rain holds off.  They're saying some rain in the AM and clearing up for the afternoon - that would work.

Jus****ched the weather and we are expecting floods again.  Boy am I sick of rain.  Hope you get your ride in.

1.  Married /single / committed relationship?

I consider myself single although I do have a boyfriend and I am committed to him, if that makes sense.  But I don't live with him and have no plans to do so.

2.  Children?  In house or out?

5 kids, 4 out of the house, 18 year old still lives with me but is getting more independent thanks to her newly acquired driver's license.  Oldest boy is married and has a 6 year old daughter, Cassidy (from a different relationship).  My second son is married and trying for a family, in the process of adoption right now since they are having fertility issues.  Oldest daughter is married and has 3 daughters, Kamiya, 7, Kaci, 4 and Sophia, 3, as well as 2 step kids, Tyson, 8 and Hailey, 5.  She has her hands full.  Next daughter is 21 and single, works and goes to school and the afore mentioned 18 year old who works and goes to school.

3.  Urban / rural?  

I guess it is urban but since I grew up in Los Angeles it seems pretty rural to me.

4.  Plans for the weekend?

Work as usual and hopefully some bike riding afterwards.
