Is your son still in TX?  How long as he been dating?  Have you met her?

Having all girls I never even thought what it would be like to be the Mother of the Groom.  This is going to be a small wedding.  Since it's a 2nd wedding for both of them there is only about 60 people.  I'm paying for the cake and cookies and DD is paying for the rest. I will probably pay for her pedicure too. It's been fun wedding shopping and not having to pay for everything....LOL.

I just can't eat the smart ones meals.

Yes, he's still in TX.  He'd like to get out ASAP.  I told him she may not go.  He said she would... I doubt it.

Yes, I've met her once, the rest of the family (ex and daughter) several times.

They've been together about 2 years now.  I don't think he's really ready to get married yet... she's a few years older so she's feeling the pressure more.  She wants to quit work and be a stay-at-home Mom.  He's not too keen on that as he can't afford to support himself.  Supposedly they've talked about it and have an agreement... but I warned him what happens to those once the ring is on - LOL.

He will do it in his own time and won't be pressured.

Oh, and the wedding would be in TX....

What color is Poppy?  We used to have a huge garden when my father in law was living but now I only have one sad tomato plant. Walmart has pretty good produce,,,lol.  I use to love digging up the  potatoes, snapping the beans, and shelling the peas. Our corn never did well.  We grew a pumpkin as big as our wheelbarrow one time but last year our pumpkins were super small and we just pitched them out and bought some.   I don't care for blackberry seeds but boy do I love blueberries, bing cherries, and concord grapes.

Sounds Good Price!

Poppy is a liver chestnut, actually the color of raw calf liver, with 2 while socks, a white belly spot on one side and a white strip on her face.  Halley is solid bay with no white at all.

My tomatos are all blighting with the rain.  The beans have been ok and the squash was in overdrive but is mostly over now.  cukes are gone.  I saw a sign at the farm store the other day for fall plants.  I can't believe it is time to start a fall garden!!! wow.

Poppy sounds pretty.  My niece has some beautiful horses. My brother-in-law had to get rid of his because he has been thrown so many times and this last time really did a number on him with a lot of broken bones. He gave/sold them to a friend of ours who will take really good care of them.

I was surprised to see MUMS in the garden shops already.  I'm just not ready for those.
