FRIDAY GRATEFUL POST

Good Friday Everyone,

Well....I know many of you are grateful that it is friday.   LOL  Friday for the most part is just another day for me.   We do all have things to be grateful for in our life whether we say we don't or not.   I think if we were honest....there are lots of things that we should be grateful for.   Here are some things I can think of off the top of my head that we ALL should be so grateful for everyday.    The air that we breathe....that we woke up and are alive....that we have a roof over our head.....computer and access to it......smell of rain....warmth of the sun.....beauty of nature......for our WLS ......for Obesity Help....for support groups.....for encouragement.....love of family and friends.......etc.   I think everyone knows that I am telling you the truth.    So next time you think you have nothing to be grateful for because what your wanting didn't turn out the way you wanted...think about some of the things that I just mentioned.    You DO have things to be grateful for in life...we ALL do.    Oh I am so grateful for the things I mentioned and SO much more.     PLEASE share if you will and have a blessed weekend.

Hi Vivian,

I'm grateful for my self-esteem. Although it has taken a few hits this year, it is still helping me make good decisions, particularly around love. Hoping it guides me through other areas of my life.

Hi Lauren.....Self esteem is a amazing thing to have these days.   I know I grew up with little to NO self esteem due to being overweight.    It's a shame what we have all gone through in our lives.

I am glad it is Friday.  I was talking with my sister this morning and we were talking about how glad we were that it was Friday.  I told her time goes by so fast now that I should not be wishing the days away until Friday gets here.

I am so thankful for my children, their spouses and my grandchildren.  The granddaughters are coming to spend the afternoon and night with us tomorrow night.  They are so entertaining!!!  I am thankful that I will have my immediate family together this Sunday for dinner.  We used to do this before they had children and moved to other towns.  I really miss it.

I have one grand daughter who just turned a year old on the 5th.   I know what you mean about entertaining.   I guess I'm lucky all of my children live near us.   Only one of my 3 son's is married with children though.   I am with you about the weeks passing so quickly.   My Momma use to say that is a sign of getting older.   Even though I don't feel old....I guess I am.   I just turned 60.   I am so thankful for my husband, children and my daughter in law.   You have a blessed weekend and thank you for responding.
