I'm EXHAUSTED!!!!
Yeap...and did that last night. Probably will do it again tonight.
We're glad we're moved too.

I am too...and it's esp hard on elderly pets and that is what a majority of our cats are...elderly. Of the 7 cats, 5 are over 11 years old...

I have moved very seldom in my adult life and hate it. We did move 3x when I was pregnant with DS, 37yrs ago and have only moved 1x since then. Take your time and get settled. Hope you have air because this rain/heat is pretty awful. and I hope you are on high ground. flooding continues.

Thanks, Price...and yes, the a/c has been going full force because of the humidity. And yes, on high ground.
Altho tho yesterday there was a tree that fell dropping on a house just across the main street. http://www.tryondailybulletin.com/2013/08/07/tree-crashes-in to-home-blocks-melrose-ave/ So not all danger is from flooding,

yeah, we are on high ground but lost a chuck of a tree a week or two ago, basically due to the amount of water. really tired of the rain.

You and me BOTH! The up side is no drought this year. The downside...all the produce is WATERLOGGED!

Way to go Liz... you got from point A to point B. I have been following your move silently... I did this because I have a move on my horizon as well.
Congrats on the success of your move.

It's not easy, Lucy...hardest part was getting it all done under a deadline and still staying hydrated. I knew I wasn't drinking enough on Tuesday during the unloading, I was sweating bullets and only had to pee twice in over 8 hours...and I typically go about every 2 hours.

I know it wasn't easy... I am a many times mover... (spent a lot of years attached to the Military).
I have a closing date on my new (to me) home of Aug 30th and my almost husband wants to move in right away (I do too) but I am a bit worried I won't be able to help as much as I would want to. I am only 7 months out from surgery and still worry about the heavy lifting stuff.
I guess my role will just have to be the traffic director... lol.. my family will LOVE that.. ha ha ha
Anyway... sounds like you are settling in... happy unpacking...
