This week 104.4

Total change +.04

I've been having the worse few weeks here.  Major car repairs, 2 bikes stolen, one stripped, ripped off by a mechanic, the list goes on.  But my attitude is pretty good and I am thankful for all the good things.  I just hope the car repairs stop.  I took it for an alignment Thursday because I had to have the struts replaced and while it was there they said I needed a new right front wheel bearing and then I would need another alignment and if I let them do it they would align it again for free so I told them to go ahead.  They finished it on Friday and I picked it up, filled it up with gas, drove less then 7 miles I would say, got on the freeway and heard a loud sound like my tire blew out.  Through the grace of God and nothing else I managed not to hit anyone or anything and got to the side of the freeway.  Thank God I got free roadside assistance with an oil change I had a few months ago.  This is the second time I had to use it.  Had it towed back to the shop I had the work at and of course they had to admit the wheel bearing I had replaced that day had failed.  They took care of everything including a new tire, cab fare for my kid to get to work since I had to take her car to work and they didn't charge labor for the original repair.  I drove it home yesterday and I am scared to death to drive it, especially on the freeway.  I've had it break twice on me while driving and I am terrified of it happening again.  I want to get rid of the car and get another one, which is a terrible idea since I have put about $900 in this piece of junk in the last few weeks.  Any prayers out there please keep me in mind that I will get over my fear and that my car is safe.  I plan on having it looked at again to be sure there is nothing else wrong with it but everything is closed today and I have to get to work.

Aw Taz, I'm so sorry to hear of your problems. I love that you're so positive though. I pray that you'll have confidence in your car and that you'll have some good luck soon as you're due some. ((Hugs)) Huneypie.

The trick is Taz, you needto find a good mechanic who works reasonably.  The best way is to ask every guy you know who works on cars , who likes o fool with cars ( old guys are the best ) what mechanic THEY go to when they need something  done that requires a lift .  Then if you possibly can have the old guy INTRODUCE you  ... ( you need to make friends with him first obviously)

A half hour of  attention to the right people will definitely pay off in the long run.  I GUARANTEE there are great mechanics in your area .. but the people who know them keep them hidden like precious jewels lol ... (((())) good luck

A little disappointed after walking hard 45 minutes a day every day, but I'll take it!
Goal is to make sure my protein and water are up this week!

I haven't participated in awhile. I hit 137 recently and my wake-up call. Poor choices and no exercise, pure and simple.

I'm consulting with a trainer at 1. Though put this process walking has been my primary form of exercise. I have my 4 year surgiversary in Nov and have set a goal.

It is nice to be focused and feel in control again.
