OT: Closed on house, moving Monday (the 5th)

We actually got to close on our new (to us) house on Friday afternoon. We went over and also planned on spending the night so we could do a good cleaning with no furniture in the way. We finally got thru the paperwork at 5:30PM then off to dinner.

After a run down to Costco and Home Depot for a few things, we headed back...got two bathrooms cleaned last night, then tackled the rest of the dusting, wiping down, and mopping today. It's 90% wood floors so we have most of them done. Only one bedroom and a staircase has carpet...the vacuum didn't fit in the car so it will be the last thing on the moving truck on Monday so it's the first thing OFF the truck.

We go get the UHaul Monday morning, load as many of the boxes as we can. About midmorning, we have a company sending loading help for the heavy stuff/furniture.

Then drive over, and reverse the process on Tues. Our cable/internet goes in on Tues afternoon. Right now I am on a mifi with VERY limited time.

Sounds like you have a good plan.  It will be great to have the whole place clean before you stuff is in!

Hurray.  Hope it is a dry moving day so you aren't tracking in mud.  Sounds like you have it all knocked (planning wise, now for the unpacking).

I want to see before and after pics!  MAKE SURE you take before too :)   before U make the place gorgeous lol ... you did an amazing job with the kitchen and bath in your last home... wonder what U're planning to beautify/improve  this one ?
