I hate for my day to start off bad - it usually just gets worse - hope your got better! Today was our payday, but I'll wait until this weekend to go to the store.
Your menu looks good. How do you make the Dill dressing? I'm always looking for good recipes. I have tried to make chips out of every vegetable I can think of to find me something crunchy that taste good and is not loaded with carbs - no luck yet. I liked the butternut squash fries, but they are so time consuming and I they never really got crispy without burning.
You are doing a great job!
Linda
Susan's Not So Famous Dill Dressing
I got this from a magazine at a doctor's office many years ago and tweaked it to suit me.
1/2 cup LF Greek Yogurt
3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill (I actually found a tube of chopped dill in my grocery store that I use instead of having to buy and chop dill)
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Salt and Pepper to taste
As for the crunchies, I tried pork rinds and gagged, just couldn't do it. So I'm always on the look out for something to satisfy the crunch monster.
Hi Honey, I'm home!!!
I feel like I have been on the road for a month. Very glad to be home and back on my routine. I sure did eat more chips and cookies while I was gone but a few days of the straight and narrow will get them out of my system. But today, they have left me hungry. So pumping down protein to stay away from snacks.

Gina, did you have the full labs done. Do you have any blood left??? I had mine drawn in June for my 4 year appointment in August. They sent me a letter telling me my protein was low(I have no idea how that happened). They suggested I add a protein drink to my menu-LOL - I already do 3-4 every day.
Your menu looks good. I've been putting 1/4 cup of the Sweet Freedom ice cream in my Chocolate Truffle Protein Drink at night-oh it is so yummy make it nice and thick and doesn't add too many calories/carbs to it.
Hope your work is going good.
Linda
18 tubes drawn. She did a great job though, one stick and no bruise.
Low protein as in protein serum, albumin and prealbumin? You need those markers to say "low protein". Ask for the numbers for all 3 of those, 2 if they don't pull prealbumin. You want protein serum at, or close to, 7 and albumin in the 4s. Protein serum alone isn't the best indicator.
Work is driving both DH and I crazy. His contract is up for bid and we know there will be a pay cut coming but we don't know how big. : (
