WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period
Running late today LW's....sorry. Our garage wall started cracking and they are going to start digging it out so the block layers can come in and do their part. I'm just sick about it because they have to dig out my rhododendron and azalea bushes. DH is going to try and plant them somewhere else if the roots aren't in too bad of shape when they are done....not sure I believe him though.

Hi Roz,
I hope you shrubs make it. We dug up and replanted my rhodedendron plant when we moved to this new house and 3 years later it is doing just fine.
2 days in the office and then I'm out of the office again on Thursday. Had labs done for PCP and surgeon and everything is in normal range except B1 so I've added it to the program.
Still afraid to step on the scales. Haven't stepped on them for about 3 weeks now. I've got to conquer this fear. I'm so afraid of not losing the weight and gaining it back. However, I'm comfortably fitting into size 12 pants and 16 tops (the 'girls' get in the way). Even my new bra is getting smaller in the band size (the cup not so much)... I know TMI.
Have a NSV though, I'm wearing my wedding rings for the first time in 6 years. They are even too big and twisting around on my finger. I'm also wearing heels again. LOVE IT.
Our temporary foster dog (2.5 lb Toy Poodle) is now ours forever. Her mom just couldn't take care of her anymore and the resident cat was using Sweets as a squeeky toy. 3 Toy Poodles in the house with 3 large cats. It's like having children in the house again.
Have a great day,
Susan

dig the hole ( a big deep hole for each plant or a single deep trough if you want to heel them in and plant back when the garage is done ) FIRST ... fill up completely with water and let soak in .
Prune the bushes back ( sorry you have to cut next years flowers of if you prune every branch now - what you CAN do and still flower next spring is prune HALF The branches back severely and leave the rest - its easy to see on a rhododendron where the big buds for blooms are so I prune only the non-blooming leaf clusters ) . Then use a sharp spade to dig a BIG circle around the roots ...pullthe bush up , heel in with ( i hope U have water holding crystals and manua added to the soil) ...STOMP on the roots to make good contact and push air out ofthe soil , water thoroughly ... and they'll probably be fine .
I rescued DOZENS of venerable old rhodies this way from old house foundations to make my garden in New Jersey ...
and most of those heirloom varieties can't even be purchased anymore . Heirloom plants lend a wonderful air of permanence and longevity to even the youngest garden !
