WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

Good luck with the shirt - I hope you manage to find something. Clothes are about the only thing I go to shops to buy as I don't like buying stuff without trying it as sizes can be so variable from one store to another.
What a long day!! I helped out with the company fun day - very tiring, but lots of fun at the same time. The weather held out for us (well it rained a couple of times for about a minute at a time and we soon dried off). They had a BBQ and sausages seemed the quick and easy choice - hence not much variety.

Before WLS when someone mentioned a "fun day" or going to a "fair" the first thing I thought of was food....LOL. Now the first thing I think about is which grandkids would be able to go. Life sure is different now.
Hot sausage...yum! Sounds Good!

Hi Roz,
Hope you found something for him. Yesterday was a very busy day. We have a good friend whose husband passed away early yesterday morning so we went to see her yesterday afternoon and spent some time. They had been married 50 years and such sweet people.
For anyone out there that has a Lowes or Home Depot near them and has young children or grandchildren, every month most of them have a building Saturday morning for children. Yesterday they had the kits to make the Toy Story R2 car. DGD#2 has been to 3 of these and has a blast. It is totally free and something great to do on a Saturday morning. They give them an apron and little goggles and they get to build something. They get a badge for each thing they complete to sew on their aprons. You have to register ahead of time, but that is it - totally free!
I know I'm going to go over today on my food, but going to post anyway...

We have a Lowes and Home Depot right beside each other. I have seen those project things for kids but I've never given them a second thought. I bet our 5 yr. grandson would love to do something like that. I'm going to talk to DH about it. I think Michaels has project days too. I'm going to check them out...thanks for suggesting them!
Your Menu still looks good!
