WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

I got my new Photo Driver's License....what a difference! I remember 4 years ago when I got it taken ( I was so excited) and the guy questioned if it was my license and wanted to know how much weight I had lost. Without looking I think I was down about 65 pounds at that point. This time you could tell it was me but my face is thinner and you can see my chest bones are not covered with fat....YEAH!
DD had a sleepover for some of our younger grandkids. DH and I are going over for breakfast. They just came to pick us up on the golf cart. Have a great weekend!

I had my 12 month check up yesterday and all went fine on Friday - not too much waiting around at all!! :-D They drew copper for me, which they don't normally do (Gina recommended I get it done as my zinc was high) and they've okayed for me to have a dexa scan 12 months after my last one - my PCP was gonna make me wait 2 years. I was meant to be on annual appointments but they've put for me to go back in 6-9 months' time - I should get a letter with a date in the next few weeks. Yay :-)
