I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to have WLS. This morning I was reminded again what a blessing it has been for my life. We had a leak in our roof at work. A friend of mine is a roofer and is going to fix it for us so I decided to climb up on the roof with him to show it to him. You have to climb up this periscope like ladder to get to the first roof and then another ladder to get to the other roof. Last time I climbed up the periscope ladder I was more than 240 pounds. Today before I started up it, I remembered how hard my last climb was. When I got to the top I thought, wow that was not bad at all!! After I climbed down I told my friend that it was so much easier about 120 pounds lighter!! I feel so blessed for my new life and all the things I can do now that I could not do before.
