U are the most AMAZING friends and I'm SOO lucky to know You ! We won in court last Thursday against all odds ..
now of course the other is trying to extort , play hardball , and viciously retaliate .
Justice and fairness R ALL on our side ... bur we are going up against goliath .. a tiny , non air conditioned upstairs-attic law firm w a single overworked sweating paralegal has taken on an entire white-shoe lawfirm w associates , interns and office staff galore .
Even the law clerks and court officers recognize and obey this firms lawyers by first name thanks to the envelopes stuffed with bills in the Christmas nut mix they receive every year ....
WE can only depend on the judges' moral compass ... great argument .. and the essential truth of our case ... and can never rely on justice REALLY prevailingl.
its David against Goliath ...and I'm so not sure I belong here fighting Don Quixote -style .
