WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

Cooled down here too - it's pretty nice.  I'm enjoying wearing slippers and socks after being barefoot coz it's sooo hot.  We've not had any rain but are forecast some on Monday.

Hey Roz,

Beautiful in NY today as well, although they are calling for a big storm soon.

B: Protein Bar
L: nothing
D: spaghetti and meatballs (only plan on eating two bites or so of pasta.
S: small piece of pudding cake, iced coffee, not sure on dessert.

Drove Halley early because I had to meet with a client and staff.  Then to the grocery and got caught in a horrible rain storm.  Then home and it hasn't rained here but looks threatening for sure.

Another 30 minutes on the treadmill this a.m. and an hour of thrift store shopping!
Coffee
Breakfast-egg beaters w/cheddar cheese, salsa, and a dollop of sour cream
Lunch-left over flounder, potato, broccoli
Snack-lite string cheese, small piece watermelon
Dinner-Sausage, potato, green beans
Snack-Greek Yogurt, 1 tsp. pb, 1 TBl. SF jelly

Tons of decaf iced tea....
Vitamins and meds are done.

Made a good protein run at the grocery store today.   I hate shopping but I was starting to skip meals for the lack of low carb options.
