Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

It's Friday!!!!!   I'm finally getting pretty good at this not snacking thing but I fear I am eating a little extra at meals because I am so hungry.  I rarely felt hunger when I snacked (usually protein).  I haven't decided which is the best way to go yet.

Yay for Friday!!  I'm off out to dinner with DH and will most likely get a chicken salad as I do quite like those and they're extra good in the heat.

If I order a chicken/steak salad I only eat the meat and croutons and the rest just sits there. I just don't enjoy salads anymore and think it is because I am scared to death of dressings and salad with no dressing is...why bother.

I have cut way back on my snacks too.  I am still calling my protein drinks my snacks.  My parents are coming this weekend and everyone is coming to my house for supper tomorrow - yeah!!  Grandkid time tomorrow.

That sounds like such fun! ENJOY!!!!!!!

I have been feeling like I am starving.  I am so used to having something in my stomach all of the time but I know it was getting out of hand.  The only thing I am still eating is my night time popcorn and that seems to help me go to the bathroom.

Drove Halley this morning and worked on the cart for the show next weekend.  got a pot full of greenbeans cooking for supper, yum.  It's getting hard to stay up with what the garden is pumping out and I am giving away squash daily if we can find someone to take it.

My Sister-in-law gave us the biggest zucchinis from her garden. I'm going to try and make the zucchini chips from a recipe someone shared on Facebook. So far I have only gotten 1 tomato off of my bush.  I think next year I will just buy one at the farmer's market if I'm hungry for fresh tomato.
