Just for fun -Friday

It has been a really stressful week at work for me and I need some fun.  I'm driving my pony this morning before diving back into the work stuff, hoping for a little stress relief.

1.   Tell me about your favorite pet, now or anytime?

2.   What is your favorite color?

3.   What is your favorite sport to do?  to watch on TV?

4.   Plans for the weekend???

1.  why do I ask such hard questions that I can't even answer?   I guess my favorite "pet" now is my min pin, Max.  I don't really consider my ponies and donkeys pets although the donkeys would disagree.  Max is about 13, was a rescue, weights 7 lbs and has good and bad days.  Lately has been doing pretty well but I know the end is coming and although I would never get another min pin, I sure will miss my little snugglebug.

2.  This time of year, I love every color.  Nature is so spectacular with flower, greens, veggies, sunsets.  I knit and look at all the yarn colors and want them all.  I certainly tend towards the pinks, reds, oranges, but love the blues too.

3.  Well, you all know the ponies are my favorite sport to do.  I have a competition next week in Ohio and just got back from a week at Blowing Rock driving the Moses Cone trails.  TV, i don't like the major sports, baseball, football, basketball but will watch skiing, track and field, golf (don't have an option there since DH and DS are golfers).

4.  Drive/ride the ponies, pack the trailer, meet with a new staff and client.  Not much sitting doing nothing time but I don't do that very well anyway.  Sunday, Zumba.

Good morning Price,

Work for me too has been super stressful (but no stress eating - YAY) but it is causing me to forget to drink, drink, drink.

1. Tell me about your favorite pet, now or anytime?

My favorite pet of all time is a tie:  My cat I had for 23 years (Zanner) and he traveled all over the country with me moving from one life experience to the next including a marriage/divorce and then back to school. I had to have him put down at age 24 in 2006 because he wasn't responding to treatment for kidney failure.  I miss him to this day  The second favorite "pet" of all time is was my Paint mare (Missy).  I trained her myself and showed her all over the Pacific coast in Open and Breed shows and did really well.  She was my constant companion growing up and I told her all of my secrets.  She gave me 2 wonderful foals and I had her until she was 27 and had to be put down when she couldn't get up anymore and was in pain.

My current favorite is my "heart" dog Diva.  Diva is 4 pound Toy Poodle and is my shadow.  She sleeps on the bed with me, under the covers.  To be fair all of the animals seem to sleep on the bed with us.  Thank goodness for a King size bed.

2. What is your favorite color?

Right now my favorite color is Turquoise.  It used to be black but I'm going for more color now.

3. What is your favorite sport to do? to watch on TV?

My favorite sport is horses, horses, and more horses.  Oh yeah, and baseball.  We are season ticket holders to the local farm team for the Oakland A's (The Rivercats) and go to the Oakland A's games when I get a chance.

4. Plans for the weekend???

I have to do a fasting blood draw on Saturday morning (hate, hate HATE the vampires), take our little "foster" dog (2 pound Toy Poodle), Sweets, to the vet.  She isn't wanting to eat and isn't pooping.  She is eating and drinking though, but very depressed.  Also going "Thrifting" with DH to find some dresses and tops for work.  Staying out of the heat as much as possible though.

Everyone have a wonderful weekend,

Susan

We don't have a cat right now.  I miss having one but have decided not to get one until we lose one of the dogs (both old with illnesses).

I do brighter colors these days and white, which I didn't wear much of before.

Hi Price and everyone.  I am soooo ready for the weekend.

1.   Tell me about your favorite pet, now or anytime?  My favorite type of pet is a dog.  I have had many over the years and loved each one of them.  DH and I have had 2 mini daschuands.  Daisy was our little girl.  She was black with a little tan on her and she passed away in 2007.  Then we got our Little Willie.  He has been with us since right after we lost Daisy.  He was six months old when we got him.  He is red/brown.  He is the total opposite of Daisy.  He is just a very loving sweet little boy.

2.   What is your favorite color?  I love greens.  If I'm not careful I would paint all the walls around me a light green.  It calms me down!!  I like blues also.

3.   What is your favorite sport to do?  to watch on TV?  I like to walk/run(is that a sport??).  I used to play basketball, softball and volleyball and loved all three, but basketball was my favorite when I was younger.

I hardly ever watch sports on tv - DH watches it all the time.  If I ever watch any, it is during the Olympics and I love the beach volleyball.

4.   Plans for the weekend???  My parents are coming today to spend the weekend.  Our kids and grandkids are coming tomorrow for us to have supper together and so the grandparents can see their great grandkids.  Hopefully the weather will be good this weekend so we can get outside some.  I need to work, but not sure if I'll take any home this weekend or not.

I love having a dog.  We spoil them rotten and treat them like children.  I think your running/walking is definately a sport.  I also love the Olympics, summer and winter.  Have a good weekend with everyone visiting.

1.   Tell me about your favorite pet, now or anytime?

Alsatian or Boxer dog.  I've never had a pet myself but I've had relatives with this type of dog and I've spent many a fun filled hour playing with them.

2.   What is your favorite color?

Um, purple right now.  I'm not majorly swayed toward any one.

3.   What is your favorite sport to do?  to watch on TV?

Do?  I quite like Step aerobics although I'm not sure if that's a sport.  I don't really watch sport on TV although I can just about cope with watching Ussain Bolt winning the 100m - I like that funny thing he does with his arms after he wins!! ;-)

4.   Plans for the weekend???

Out to dinner tonight with DH.  It's pretty hot here so we probably won't get up to too much.

I can't imagine life without a dog, but I don't live in the city.  We had a boxer growing up and they are very nice dogs. I love watching Bolt.  Pretty amazing all those parts can move that fast.  Stay cool!!!
