Its been a couple of weeks...
Sorry to all my friends wondering when and where I fell off the face of the earth.
The last few weeks were crazy making final preparations to move to NY and the actual move itself. I feel upside down to put it lightly. I feel like a failure that I have to move back in with my parents, with no job or leads. My heart is crushed that I've left my Scott behind. I'm really struggling to keep my head above water.
The only silver lining is that I was able to dig out my scale and weigh myself. It's holding steady at 181. I definitely lost opportunity by eating out and such. But now I'm back on track at my parents house. Just need to avoid their sugary treats.

Hi Lauren,
Hope you have a great day today. You are not a failure - you have inspired so many that loss is possible further out. There are lots of people that are moving back in with their parents these days. It is a tough job market.
Congratulations on holding steady at 181. I'm not sure I could do that with all the changes you have had to make in the last month!!
Linda
Thanks Linda.
In a time where I have little control over my cir****tances, I'm focusing on food to get me through. If I can get over the hump soon to 179, I will have hit a milestone that I didn't think possible.

Lauren - (((HUGS))) - Chin up and things will be better soon. I expect we'll see the previous, happy and positive Lauren emerging soon... I really don't think there is anything that can hold her down for long.

Sorry you are blue!!!
Remember things you can do to feel better. Get on a schedule, take a walk, volunteer somewhere so you will have a purpose. You know the weight loss/eating stuff. You can get over this hump. You are an amazing person and you can kick this in the butt.

I'm having to contemplate big lifestyle changes and compromises myself so I know how disappointing and depressing it really is .I keep telling myself that at least I'm not staying in a situation that is degrading and unhealthy and bad for me... that I'm opening the door to a better future .
