X-post, skating dress NSV with pics (I hope)
Well, competition is a little less than two weeks away, I picked up my custom made dress at the rink yesterday. When I saw it hanging up in the hockey room, I noticed the waistline, and how beautiful the dress is, and I cried. Never in a million years did I think I would be preparing to skate in a competition. It just boggles my mind sometimes that I fit in this (and other small clothing items).
After my fitting, I skated in it for practice just so I could get used to it. I have only skated in a practice dress, and that is back when I was a young teenager. Oh, that old practice dress also fits again, but it is worn out, and very early 80's. No pic in that one.
The first one was taken at the rink right after the fitting, the second one was taken by Mike when I showed it to him.
Awesome and congratulations on your NSV! I know this is something you love and what a great way to start your new "life".

You look lovely and the dress is perfect. To compete is to win. I love competing. I don't always come home with a ribbon, much less a blue one but if I meet my goals for the competition, I win. Good luck but you are already a winner in my book.
