MONDAY GRATEFUL POST

Good Morning Everyone,

Yes..it is monday and the beginning of another week ( well almost since sunday is offically the first day of the week ). LOL   We ALL have so very much in our lives to be grateful for.   One thing that I am EXTREMELY grateful for today is rain.   We were seriously headed for a drought.   It's been raining ( not hard nor super heavy but still liquid gold coming from the sky ).    I am grateful for a good turn out for my support group yesterday....grateful for a break from the 100+ degree weather we've been having here in Texas ( had 5 days of over 100* last week ).    Grateful for my WLS and all the choices of surgery today....my family....friends....home.....faith....answered prayers....and especially good health.    PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today.    Have a blessed day and amazing week.

Good Monday morning,

Today I am grateful for my parents who have switched roles again and find themselves tending to their 34 yr old daughter.

I bet your parents are grateful for that opportunity to help out.

I am grateful for the surgery that is prolonging my life. This tool has helped me and supported me through the first six weeks.

I went to the hospital and the doc confirmed that my eye's on the mend so I'm grateful for that. ;-)

YEAH !!!   So glad that your eye is getting much better huneypie.

I'm grateful for my life after surgery. 9 years this past June 24th.  I'm grateful for my grandchildren and the opportunity I have taking them places and playing with them as well as teaching them things that only a meemaw can do.

Congrats to you on your 9 yrs. post op.   I am going on 8 yrs post op myself.   It is amazing the life that we live after our WLS and all the opportunities that it has given us for a fuller healthier life.

When I found out I didn't make it to the last round of interviews for a job I thought I really wanted...  my family and friends surrounded me.  I'm grateful for the support I have in family right now as I look for a job in this crazy job market.  I'm blessed.
