The funny thing is I've really trained myself to go out to the YARD when I'm hungry ...I find myself out there wandering around aimlessly like I used to do the " stop and stare " at snacks in grocery and drug stores ... and I used to even open the refrigerator routinely when I came home tired before my surgery.
Now I just slip on my garden clogs , grab a good book and a basket , call the thousand year old happy cat who bounces right to the door tail straight up ...and we head out to the cushioned swing in the shade where I can pick raspberries without even getting up .
SO much of a healthier lifestyle ! I really have to thank WLS for much of it because I used to grow the veggies but gave most of them away , preferring higher glycemic index foods . Now I'm MAD for the fresh heirloom tastes and they totally satisfy me.

exercise - digging holes for and planting 10 rose bushes, as many perennials and rose and redbud and flowering peach trees .
