WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

Good Morning!!!   Had a cook out and fire last night.  DD#3 and her boys spent the night.  It was so nice waking up to their smiles.  It's times like these I miss them living with us,

Hi Roz  - grandkids are awesome!!

I helped my DD move yesterday.  What a job.  We had all these "over 50" people there...and her husbands' brother.  She has SOOO much stuff... so I hired 2 guys and a truck.  At first DD said "do you really think that's necessary?" and at the end of the day said "OMG I'm SOOO glad we had them - I couldn't have done this without them and everyone".  i don't think she realized just how much work it is taking furniture apart and putting it back together.  She didn't think we needed them for 7 hours either... and they were there every minute.  so, lots of exercise and carbs... oh well...

She asked if I was going to be back today - no... not today.  Taking the day off.  I told her I'd be by during the week.  She still has lots of help there today.  

Yesterday:

B - coffee

L- ham/cheese sandwich and a few chips

D - a piece of pizza 

S - beer... wine... 

Vits:  yes

water:  way low except for the beer....

Today:

B - coffee and steak and sausage gravy on toast.  I didn't eat but 4 bites of each.  Just filled up fast

L -

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost

Can you skip straight to grandkids without first having kids??  I like the idea of this and think it could catch on!! ;-)

Battling the foamies all weekend.  Everything solid food I put in my mouth is not setting well.  Have to do some grocery shopping today.

I'm looking forward to my first grandchild in November.  In the meantime, I have some adorable nieces and nephews (thanks to my baby brother) that are my pseudo-grandkids :-)

Hello Roz. I have just recently joined and am interested why your diet consists of so many shakes a day? I live in Switzerland and do not have a lot of guidance, so I am trying to find out how to schedule my eating plan. Thanks
