Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

Well I have already snacked early this morning....!!!!   I think I had 3 marshmallows.  Going to take my Mom for a pedicure this afternoon and then running a few errands.  The family all get in late last night from the water park.  It was kind of nice having some alone time.  I didn't snack at all last night which was surprising.

I hope your mom has sandals on for her pedi.  I remember you mentioning ages back (when it was colder) her putting her shoes on and smudging the pedicure.

It's been a lovely sunny day in England and I've been wearing my slipper sandals around the house - I touched up the chips on my toenails this morning and it's been warm enough that I wanted them on all day!! :-D

I got in 3 protein shakes for a total of 105g protein with that alone.  I'm not sure if I'll manage to get a 4th one in - maybe on a work day I will, but I space my protein out so I only have 35g protein once every 2 hours - I get horrible gas otherwise.

B1 Protein shake 35
B2 Protein shake 35
S Cheese 10
L Chicken Kiev 26
S Protein shake 35
D Crispy shredded beef 25
D Chicken, egg drop soup 10

Protein: 176
F 80+
V All in (inc 6 batches of calcium) nightime iron pending

howdy Roz,

Not much going on at home with my parents. I am going out tonight to a party in Manhattan, that should be fun,

Right now I am just treading water with the fear of great big wave crashing over me in the form of bad food. It is so much easier to lose weight in your own home where you control the food coming in. Don't get me wrong, my Mom has been very supportive buying me crystal light, protein bars, etc., but the easy availability of cake and potato chips is killing me.

B: Protein bar, tea, 1 small piece of pineapple
L: Turkey and cheese on a deli flat
D: not sure
S: not sure

I totally understand.  I can stand some stuff, like I would be ok with the bag of chips if it wasn't open, but once opened, I would be in it.  I'm not that big on cake but cobbler calls my name.

Hope your party is good.

well it's dog wash day here.  3 Toy Poodles to wash and blow out and maybe clip if I can find the clippers.  The weather is wonderful, the heat wave broke Friday and it's in the low 80s today.  Went and got my hair re-cut at a different salon, I hated the way the other stylist cut it.  DH took me to lunch at my favorite Mexican restaurant and now I want a nap... LOL.

Have a great day everyone,

Susan

Went to a mini horse sale, just looked, didn't buy anything.  Then drove 2.5 hr to a wedding.  It was nice andI did fine with the food.  then had to drive home.  Tomorrow, finish packing and head to Blowing Rock.  It is still raining off and on but at least it isn't non-stop like it was for a few days.  All the fields around here are flooded, glad I live on high ground.
