Happy 4th!  I hope everyone has a safe and great day!

I may be heading north to Traverse City to the Cherry Festival for the day.  Weather looks like it will be nice.  

I have NO idea what my menu is - but will do my darndest to keep it good.  I've let a few carbs sneak back in lately and can I ever tell!  I haven't been this gassy in weeks.  I'll get on the scale in a few - that will give me the attitude adjustment I need!

it's suppose to be raining here all day, just like it did for the past 2 and will tomorrow.  Hope this weather pattern shifts before my trip next week.  Last year it rained on us the whole time.  So glad you had good weather when you were here, Jody.  The mountains are beautiful in the rain, but only for so long.

My dad died on the 4th of July many years ago.  I don't really every do much that day.  Concentrating on getting paperwork done so I can be gone next week since playing with the ponies is out unless I find some really big water wings.

We are heading to a BBQ at a friends here in town and its supposed to be 108 today.  They are getting an inflatable water slide and I'm not sure how I feel about using it.  Because I don't know what will be served, I'm making/taking "Nik's Magic Meatballs" to make sure there is something I can eat.

Happy holiday!!

Well I've finally cracked and will be adding fruit back in.  I had a pastry this morning and have felt bloated and look pregnant!!  I'll do fruit in the AM only after first getting in a protein shake.  I used to do that in my food combining days so hope I do OK with this as I really need some variety (OK I know it won't be real food combining but I'm hoping the shake will go through fast enough for this to be OK).

It's my surgiversary later this month so I guess I did pretty well to last this long.

Jody, hope you have a great day and got to go to the Cherry Festival.  It has rained here so much lately - can't really do much of anything outside.  I need to go pick some blueberries before they ruin.
