Menus and Miles Tuesday July 2nd
I don't eat enough Protein food so I'm going to try and concentrate on that. They have had Angel Food cake out on the counter all afternoon today but I haven't been tempted. Now...if had been homemade I might have struggled a little more.
Sounds Good!

Well its HOT here! 108 yesterday at 4pm and supposed to be that way for the rest of the week.
I find myself wanting to snack on the weekends, especially if DH is working and has the car. I try to keep busy but well you know how it goes, some days are just lazy days. I especially want crunchy/salty stuff. I'm so glad we don't have chips in the house and I hope I've learned my lesson with nuts. I've tried raw veggies and pouch goes into revolt mode immediately no matter how small the bite and how well I chew.
The foster dog is settling in just great and thinks she's one of the pack, but she isn't house trained very well.
I think my scale is broken. I got on it last week and it said 185. 3 days later I went to my PCP and that scale said 185. I stepped on the scale this morning and it said 186.. so I did it again and it said 183... and then 182. I think I need a new scale. Any recommendations?
Have a great day,
Susan

L: 1/4 cup left over home made spaghetti sauce w/ 1/4 cup LF cottage cheese (tastes like lasanga).

D: 1/4 cup ground turkey w/ 2 tablespoons quinoa, LF Greek yogurt to moisten and 1/4 cup green beans
S: Chocolate protein shake 30g
It does sound like you scale is touchy. I make sure mine is on the same line on my tiled floor every day. I don't think you can compare your scale with the PCP though.
I don't pick as much at home as I do ate work. Someone always seems to be cooking something or leaving snacks out on the table.
That's good your visitor is settling in. I wonder if he dirty at her house. My DD's yorkie just would not train so she wears a doggy diaper on him and it works like a charm.
Sounds like you are doing an Awesome Job!

Sweetness (foster dog) is kind of dirty at her house. She has never seen grass and it scared her to death yesterday when I took them outside after work to do their business. Right now she is in a puppy exercise pen with her bed, blanket and water and a puppy pad (she is sort of trained to those).
I will keep the scale in one spot and see what happens.
At work they are always bringing in all sorts of carby stuff, donuts, bagels, baos and so on. I've been good so far but I know they are there and I want one so bad. If only I could find something for the mid afternoon crunchies
