Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.
Is it really the last day of June already???? I just read my post from yesterday and the last sentence didn't make any sense at all....LOL I must have been in a hurry. We had a good time yesterday. The weather was absolutely perfect. The park is about an 1.5 hours from our house and I guess we had terrible rain there. My flowers sure do look bright and healthy today.
Do you have anything planned for the holiday week coming up? DH is off work all week but the only day I have off is Independence Day. I'm already making him a list..LOL. He likes to keep busy so the list will actually make the week better for him.
We always go to my sister's on the 4th for a picnic and then go to see the fireworks but we've decided to go to a water park in Ohio this year. My son-in-law and I have to drive home that evening because we have to work but the rest of our family is staying overnight and enjoying the park the next day too. I'm glad SIL has to work too or I wouldn't have been able to go at all.

Hi Roz,
it's 105 here in Sacramento today... YUK! I plan on staying inside all day. DH went to San Francisco for work and I'm alone with the dogs and cats today. We are going to friends for the 4th and hoping that they have something at the BBQ I can eat. I will do some research and see what kind of a recipe I can make to take with us. Was in need of something crunchy this morning and since my pouch and raw vegies don't get along, I tried some Marcona Almonds. I had three little almonds and immediately regretted it. Froamie**** and I was sick as a dog. So at 7am I went back to bed and slept for a couple hours. When will I ever learn.
Did get a load of laundry done... YAY. Overall its gonna be a lazy day I think.
Have a great day,
Susan
