OT SI joint surgery update
I had my staples removed last week YEA! Healing up well. I went back to work part time Thurs and Fri. Still no weight bearing on R side for another 2-3 weeks. I have to use a walker. Surgeon said as soon as the holes where the staples were are closed I can do water exercise, so I am planning on checking for water classes next week. It aches and hurts some as I have been completely off pain meds for a week, but I dont know for sure if it is surgical pain or SI pain. I will have to let it heal longer before I can tell if it worked. I have noticed I dont wake up at night like i used to. I used to go out and lay on the couch cause I hurt from the bed, so it is encouraging!

Sounds like you're making great progress. It took a month + before I could go back to work-light duty and that was iffy. I hope all continues to go well.

You probably have nerve damage, so that will take a long time to heal... if it's anything like what i had.
Glad you're on the mend and doing better. Just take it easy...
