Friday - Just for fun
I wilt when I just hear your temps. I think upper 80s is bad but I don't think ya'' have the humidity, do you? I know when DD was in Oregon, we would hear it was in the 90s and neither of us was uncomfortable. but 100 is hot no matter what.

1. did you do your vits this morning? Yeap
2. what did you have for breakfast? After two protein coffees, I had half of an egg/ham/cheese sandwich. dh ate the other half. And it was covered in mayo and heavy on the ham/cheese.
3. Have you increased your fluids now that is it hot? Any tips for others? Oh yes...just keep trying different things. Dh and I added strawberry or watermelon ice (made with Crystal Light lemonade) to help cool off the insides.
4. Weekend plans? We have the finisher coming tomorrow to tape/mud/sand the upstairs bath that got drywall finished today. Once it cures, we have painting, etc to do to finish that upstairs bath.

It will probably be nice to be inside with the heat and humditiy here at least. Looks good.

1. did you do your vits this morning? I did but thanks for reminding me that it's time for the next dose.
2. what did you have for breakfast? Lately I've been having 2 Light n Fit Greek yogurts, about 30 grams of protein. My typical meals gradually transition over time, usually have I have spent a lot of money on something I think I will be eating for a while, like when I was into ricotta so I bought a few containers on sale and watched them go bad.
3. Have you increased your fluids now that is it hot? Any tips for others? I think I am drinking more but I usually get in about a gallon a day anyway. I always have a bottle or two with me.
4. Weekend plans Work, work, work. At least it is air conditioned at work. And it stays light out so I can go for a bike ride when I get home and it's a bit cooler.

Sometimes the grocery outlet has ricotta on sale, almost give away prices. I always buy a couple and stick them in the freezer. If you are going to cook with it, it doesn't seem to matter.

You had to mention Grocery Outlet :) They built one a few blocks from me and now I visit it several times a week. After reading your post I decided to check it out again even though I was just there in the last few days and what do they have? My favorite Light N Fit yogurt in strawberry at 2 for $1! That is about half what I've been paying so I bought all they had. I should be able to eat them before they expire but if I happen to get sick of them by then I plan on freezing them for a cold treat.

1) did good with the vitamins.....now taking iron twice a day so that gets a bit tricky with all the calcium we also take!
2) 2 large cups of coffee and then 1 large protein coffee
3) I did okay on fluids today....my first coffee is caff and my next two are decaf so I count that towards fluids...so far today (not counting my caff coffee) arpund 80 oz...plus will have my protein ice cream in a bit...not sure if that is a fluid or not...lol.
4) getting my hair done...need to grocery shop and a lot of rest....very busy at work and I need some serious sleep. starting to feel better I think post iron infusion...woot! got a groupon for local gym so ready to get back into a work out routine.
p.s. LOVE grocery outlet and amazing savings...sometimes find stuff, sometimes not...but when I do it is quite a deal!
TGIF!!!!
Yeah, a while back I bought some veggie burgers that were $1 for a pack of 4 and they were really good. Went back and got 8 more bags. Then they had black bean burgers from the same company. I bought 2 bags, hope they are as good.
glad you are feeling better since the iron.

Yup, I tend to hoard when I find good stuff there too. They also have good price on eggs usually too. I also buy veggies there and my dog is also on veggies so she gets her frozen ones there too!
I was so fatigued due to such low iron...two weeks post infusion and feel so much better. Now, I just need to get back to falling asleep okay and will have enough stamina to get back to a exercise routine. I need it as this maintenance is HARD. My lipedema (legs swelling) is flaring up which doesnt help either with weight gain. I hate worrying about all of this but I do.
Showers are bringing in cooler temps which feels nice tonight!!
Just seeing this as of Saturday morning....my cell phone bit the dust yesterday, I've been off grid and I've lost all my contacts. If I've texted with any of you would you guys send me another text so I can save your phone numbers with a name? : (
1. Morning batch is almost done except for calcium and folic acid.
2. 2 protein coffees
3. I haven't yet as I drink diet cranberry juice all day long anyway.
4. Car to the shop for oil change, inspection and emissions test, Newton to the groomer, laundry, groceries, tanning, babysitting grandbabies this afternoon. Tired already.
