So far behind at work since I took off last week and the 30th is the last day of our fiscal year.

S:  Cookies - The guy I bought my car from mailed me a box of cookies.....luckily DH ate most of them!

Fortunately for me my Manager takes over when I have off. 

It wasn't like that at my old job so I completely understand what you are going through.  Sometimes I wondered if it was worth taking off. Our fiscal year at the Jewelry store was Jan. 31st.  December is complete madness in the retail world so I couldn't do a single day of posting until Jan. which meant I couldn't even start my fiscal reports until I was all caught up.

What kind of car did you buy?  I've been looking but I just can't decide on whether I want  a car payment or not.  My van is paid off and I still love it but my DD's all have big vehicles now so it seems kind of foolish for me to be driving a van around with just me in it.  I don't think any salesman has ever sent me cookies...lucky you and lucky DH got to them first....LOL.

I got a 2013 Chevy Equinox.  I had a 2006 one and really loved driving it.  I had a van and it got too big for me then I got a Grand Prix which I loved but it got to where I had a hard time getting in and out of it so I traded it for the Equinox and it seems to be just the right size for us.

I didn't want a car payment either until we get the house paid off in about 6 months.  DH just kept on and on about it.  Since I'm traveling more, I think he was more worried about me being stranded.  It had a couple of issues that we just didn't want to spend the money to fix, but it was paid for....  I told him exactly what I wanted and when we went and looked they had it on the lot so we bought it and drove it home - we are both impulse buyers but I am enjoying it.

First time I ever got cookies either.  I ate way too many of them. Luckily they are now gone.

A girl I work with just bought her 2nd Equinox.  She loved her first one too.  You are tiny like me...you don't have any problems getting in and out of it?  I think it's time to get rid of my van too.
