Menus and Miles Tuesday June 25th
I'm not quite 5 weeks out yet so my menu is a little more boring than everyone else's :-)
B - Unjury protein shake w/milk
S - hard-boiled egg
L - 2.5 oz. canned chicken with 2 T. miracle whip
S - 6 oz. plain greek yogurt with 1 T. SF preserves and Stevia, Isopure 8 oz. drink later
D - 2 oz. grilled steak, couple bites of veggies
W: on track
V: on track
X: 30 minutes on treadmill this morning
Welcome to M&M!!!!!
Your menu looks far from boring to me. If you read the other posters menus you will notice that the majority of us stick to the same thing during the week.
Sounds Good!

Going on 5 years and I still can't eat scrambled eggs. It is crazy how they stick and won't go down. Steak has to be super thin and tender or I can't eat it either.

Hi Roz,
I'm with Jodi, I try not to snack at all. With the exception of yogurt at night because some of my bedtime meds require that I eat.
Right now I'm struggling a bit with my sleep schedule. At my apartment, I took a nap shortly after taking my meds, mostly because I take so many and they all have a sleepy effect. For some reason I thought it would be different staying with my sister, but no luck, I'm as tired as ever. Going to talk to the doctor about switching the timing of some of my meds. Hope that helps.
B: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, cheddar cheese on a deli flat
L: Turkey and cheese on a deli flat
D: Shrimp tacos
S: Yogurt

35 pounds of regain!!! 30 lost!!! Just a little more to go.
Not snacking is probably a good idea. I eat very small meals and then I have a yogurt or a piece of cheese in between. I try not to have any kind of "bad" carbs before dinner. Most nights I eat a 100 calorie bag of popcorn before bed. It seems to keep my bowels moving. The Today show had something on about eating numerous mall meals that I taped. I'm going to watch it in a little bit. I'm curious to see what they have to say. I doubt it will change my mind unless they are really convincing.
I was just talking to our Pharmacist about my Mom's meds. She hasn't been sleeping much and I think it's because we moved some of them to the morning.
Sounds Good!

One of my 2 meetings went well, the other, not so much. But I did get home in time to get some pony time in. DH went to the Dr and got started on some meds so hopefully he will be getting better. I am suppose to be gone over the weekend but can't leave him if he can't go out and take care of the donkeys.

You never mention your DH helping with the animals so I wondered if he did. I hope the Dr. can get him feeling better. Working out in this heat is a killer for my DH. I'm so glad he took all next week off.
Sounds Good Price!
