Returned from a two week vacation last Sunday . The day that I left, I weighed 105.4, which was a decrease from 106.7 that I had weighed during most of May. I didn't know if it would stick, but it did and I have dropped more.
The vacation was more active the first week than the second week. Eating out was a challenge and I experienced some really bad episodes of GERD. I didn't eat too much, but some of the food obviously didn't agree with me. I did bring some of my own foods like yogurt, turkey jerky ( lower sodium and fat), etc., which did help.
my weight today is 103.6 lbs. This is an all time low. I did hit 103 lbs yesterday.
i'm having my body fat tested today and will post the results later.
Also, I saw my PCP last Monday and I have an endoscopy scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. He was obviously concerned about the severity of my symptoms. The GERD may be a factor in some of the weight loss.

Thank you for posting this thread. It helps with accountability and support.
Are you on a PPI? I know I get occasional symptoms when I miss a dose.

14% is terrific. My printout says "normal" is 25-32%. I was 19% and very pleased with being "underfat"

I was very pleased with the results. Good to see that the weight training and exercise are helping. Your results are also fantastic , especially for those of us who are older. I had a hydrostatic dunk test done, which is supposed to be accurate within 1 percent. First time in my life that I have been under fat. Amazing isn't it?

I don't know how accurate those body fat scales are but mine says I am about 20%. I am assuming that since I am roughly a little over 100 lbs that means I have about 20 lbs of fat? Am I right? That may explain why I wear the same size clothes that I have seen some wear when they are 20 or more lbs heavier then me. One of these days I will have it measured professionally so I know where I am at.
