I am a 40 year old mother of three. I have been obese for the last ten years. My bmi is about 33-34. I am planning on having the sleeve done in the next few months. I don't have any other major health issues so I am self pay. I was wondering if some of you who are close is age and size can tell me how the weight loss has been if you have been sleeved? Thanks. I'm looking forward to learning from you all.

Welcome aboard!  I see many of us lightweight post-WLS peeps losing somewhere in the range of 20-25 pounds the first month, 10 or so the next 3 months and then about 5 pounds a month for another 3 months. That will get you close to goal or normal BMI within 9 months. You will be pleased. : )

Welcome to the LW Board.

I had RNY, but wanted to welcome you.  Good luck.
