Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

Wasting my lunch hour and some of my vacation time waiting for the refrigerator repair man to show up.  He hasn't even called yet so I'm guessing I'm going to be sitting here for awhile.  This is the third time for the same repair so Lowe's said they will replace it if it doesn't get fixed today.

Hi Roz,

Things are quiet (before the storm) here. I splurged this morning and got one of those sweet coffee drinks from McDonald's when I was out. The good news is that in the past I would have added an egg sandwich and hash brown. The bad news is now I need to figure out where I'm going to get those calories from.

Have a great Thursday

B: Iced caramel mocha from McDonald's
L: Leftover pizza
D: Leftover pizza
S: Yogurt

Can you tell that I've packed all my cookware and stopped food shopping? Lol

Have a safe trip!!!  I've found that since WLS even if I have a bad day it's a whole lot easier to get back to my "norm" because I have hope now and know it works.

Isn't it frustrating.   we are so at there mercy.  I spent an hour waiting at the Dr's office yesterday.  If I had been an hour late, it would have been too bad so sad.

I had a meeting early, then rode Poppy  .  the gnats were horrible.  I'm going to have to try the dryer sheet thing again.  Poppy was fine because I use fly spray on her but not on me.  Now I need to clean the trailer and head the ponies to the vet at 3. * added note. Vet didn't show until 4:30 so by the time I got home, it was close to 8.  So much for eating squash tonight.  Thank goodness for a loving DH who went and got us food.  Now we have even more squash for supper Friday night.

No idea about supper except it is going to include yellow squash.  they are now coming in and I don't know how we will eat all of them.

decaf protein coffee  33g
eggbeaters, cheese, kale
lemon tea protein  13g
meatloaf
caribean cooler protein  13g
taco salad, 1/2 the shell
protein shake  33g

Also need to roast some kale.  that is the only way to use a bunch and I have a bunch these days.  Loving my free food.

He called about 40 minutes after my scheduled time and said he would come after he had lunch..I was pretty upset by then...

I tried to be polite as I could and I even told him I would open a can of soup for him.  He insisted that his time is anywhere between 8 and 5 and he doesn't know why they gave me a set time.  I told him I was told Wed. evening to call at 8:00am to get my hour time frame and I needed to get back to work.  So it's not like 1 person made a mistake.   I was told to call and then talked to the second person in the morning.  He finally agreed to eat later.

I didn't plant any kind of a garden this year.  I have 1 tomato plant in a pot that has several tomatoes and some buds. Should I spray it some bug spray?

I actually had a taco salad last night too but I ate the whole shell.....  I think it's only my 2nd one since WLS.  The last one had a bunch of rice in it so most of it got thrown away.  DH rode to his ballgame with a friend and I got the whole house to myself....it was wonderful!

Sounds Good Price!

I tell Taco Bell no rice and they do it.  It is much better that way.

All the best with the fridge.  When I see my DS consultant for follow up I always wait 2 hours - grr!!  At least I know and have come to expect it now.

Yay TGINF!!  I think I need a TT.  I sent off a pic to a PS to see his opinion - the co-ordinator is the partner of a former colleague I've known for about a decade so I have faith that the surgeon's good.  We'll see - her initial thought was I was rather slim for PS and couldn't I exercise off the belly, so she's not out to money grab at least.

When I have a Drs. appointment I always plan on being there forever.  I expected  this guy to come during the hour time frame they gave me.

Sounds Good!
