Thanks everyone. I have fibromyalgia and am just really afraid that the more intense the operation the more flare ups I will have. I also have a fatty liver that isn't working too well so I'm worried about that too. I guess I'll leave it up to the doctor and trust in his/her (haven't met yet) decision.
I do have the ability to work from home but haven't even told my boss about this yet so waiting to see what happens. I really want to be able to stop injecting insulin and to exercise. My feet are so bad I can barely walk with the pain so maybe if there's less of me for them to carry i can walk the beach every night again.
