Packed my scale :(
In preparation for my move back to NY, I packed my scale. I'm uneasy about it. I like to check my weight everyday, as if somehow it will validate me as a person (pathetic I know). So, as I said, I'm uneasy, but feeling up to the challenge of eating right everyday and not seeing the impact on the scale.
Still uneasy

35 pounds of regain!!! 30 lost!!! Just a little more to go.
I do ok without one for a few days when I am gone for a weekend but if I am camping for a week, I get very uneasy about what it will say. I understand completely.
When I was in losing mode, and tracking every bite, I used that as my touchstone. Knowing I was doing everything right made it ok for whatever the scale said. Maybe you can transfer your anxiety to logging intake again.

Thanks Price. Glad it's not just me.
I log everything that goes in my mouth so I'm fairly confident I'll survive. It's just that validation of my efforts that I'll miss temporarily. Hoping there is a bright side and I will have lost a few pounds.

When I find myself running to the scale every day, I pick out a pair of jeans that are too tight at the moment. I try those on instead. I also have a cloth tape measure and I measure my rib cage - like you would for a bra.
So I spend time measuring with my tape and trying on my jeans. Cause I will freak out when I get on the scale and see a 3-4 lb gain from the 1/2 of bacon I ate yesterday.
