OT low blood preasure

My BP is about the same as yours and like you no one seems concerned about it. I was also stating to have higher BP right before my revision but aside from that my BP has always run a little on the lower side. Whenever someone takes my BP now they just ask if that is normal for me and when I say it is they just continue with my vitals.

Candy, were you still in normal range pre-op or on BP meds? That also affects just how low you can get.

Example, I was never on BP meds, mine ran normal all my life...high normal but normal (130/80 typically). Now I'm doing good to get 100/65.

Dh, on the other hand, was on two BP meds to keep his in normal (125/80). Now he typically runs 120/70 with no meds.

So where you started from is a part of where you end up...and yes, too low can be an issue IF it is causing you problems...if not, just enjoy it. And SMILE! Lowered BP is a NICE side effect of the surgery.

It was low normal pre op this time. But low all the pre op & post op time in hospital. I have the question in to my pcp and will see what he says.
It was high pre WTL
