Another Day Another Bike
I have just been diagnosed with anemia (again!) so I know what you mean. That is why I am so surprised that I am able to ride for so long and not feel tired afterwards, except of course on hills. Having gears helps and I am trying to get used to them. There is a stretch of road near by my local Walmart that is pretty steep, for about half a block (feels like a mile) and whenever I ride to Walmart I make myself go up that hill so I can get used to it. I can't believe I intentionally go up a hill but I do. By the time I reach the top I am dying but the fun part is riding down The funny thing is I remember like 30 years ago I got a bike and I wanted to use it every day until I found myself at that very hill. Even now I remember thinking it looked like a mountain and I was like 25 then. I managed to get up that hill, went home and never rode that bike again. In my mind all these years that hill was huge and now, while it is still steep, it isn't as bad as I remembered it. My hope is that if I go up that hill everyday at some point it won't be that big of a deal and I won't be scared of other hills.

Nice bike!! cute color!! Glad you are enjoying yourself and riding around town. My daughter "borrow" my bike and she really likes it. I hope I get it back because now I am smaller it should be easier to ride. Have fun with the wind blowing thru your hair...oh wait you need to wear a helmet. Have fun!!
