WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

Good morning Roz,
I love weddings too. Gives you a chance to eat a bit more and work off the calories on the dance floor. The best man I ever danced with would be my father. No other man has ever measured up. They just don't build these guys the way they used to. In my family, my mom and dad are still known for their dancing prowess.
I am beginning the preparations for my move to NY. Scott is out with his daughter today so I have no excuse to at least make the list. I also need to watch my calories today, I went a little carb overboard last night at the baseball game.

Good morning,
The last 2 weeks at work have been tons of overtime and stress getting ready for a major project next week. Solid food, all and all combinations, has been sitting like a lead balloon in my pouch so I've been adding extra protein to my water and eating chicken soup with protein powder, back to stage 1 it seems.
I love weddings! What a wonderful thing to celebrate the coming together of two people.
This morning we are marching in a parade and this afternoon we are taking delivery of a pool table with a cover that makes it into a formal dining table for 12.
Have a great day everyone.

I'm betting the extra work isn't as hard on you as it was before WLS. I have so much more energy now.
Hope fully the middle of your day was just as good as the beginning and the end!

Have fun at your wedding. I have one to go to in a few weeks.
Just got in from a ride with Poppy. It's been in the 50's the last 2 nights and the mornings have been wonderful. Carriage club meeting tonight and I am making the dump cake I saw on FB. It will be sugar free but not low carb with fruit and SF cake mix. I'll let you know how it turns out. Making 2 actually so DH can have one for fathers day. I'm out of all my carbquick stuff so need to bake too.

Do you have to travel to the wedding like you had to for the shower? I've got just enough carbquik to make something for this week but then I have to reorder.
Sounds Good!

I went on and ordered protein and carbquick this past week before I ran out. I still haven't tried the plain flour stuff.
Yes, the wedding is 2+ hours away. I'm dreading the trip and it is the day before I leave for Blowing Rock. Still debating if I will really go but I have to let them know today because of the caterer.

I actually forgot my camera but DD will have some great pictures.
I loved playing badminton when I was younger. I don't know when I quit playing games but I think it was when the DD's were born and I had to take care of them. Now I take care of grandkids so my DD's can still play games. I encourage them to keep having fun because I feel like I have missed out on so much.
Sounds Good!
