IV infusion tomorrow

So, after some self advocating, I am getting my newly diagnosed anemia addressed via IV infusion tomorrow morning.  Not nervous but would be grateful for some swinging lizards.  I am not an easy stick as far as IV's so that  is the first challenge.  REALLY looking forward to iron hopefully going back up and fatigue decreasing.   Will let you all know how how it goes...

Thanks!!

I had mine a few weeks ago. Be warned- you'll get IV Benadryl. I slept for hours of my infusion! Lol

Good luck

I'm swinging for you.    Hopefully when it is over, you will feel so much better.  No energy is no fun, esp for the summer when we should be out playing.

Thanks for the swinging lizards (and willie!!).  The infusion went well.  I was there almost 8 hrs so that was interesting but I dont feel too puny or sick.  Praying this helps breing up my iron and then cane hopefully keep it up with supplements.  I need to be back and active again!    Woot!
